Christmas carols playing on the radio-
A festiveness is in the air.
Pies are baking in the oven.
Excitement is everywhere!
Smiles and hellos are readily exchanged;
To total strangers whose names are unknown.
Children are happy and on their best behavior
Hoping for the latest trend or iPhone.
What is the reason for this jubilance?
It’s Jesus! Our Lord and Savior’s birth.
Wise men came bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
On the day our savior came to earth.
Born in a manager in Bethlehem Judea-
Such a humble beginning for our upcoming king.
What a great celebration in the heavens occurred.
Angels herald his birth- good tidings they bring.
Remember Jesus only is the reason for the season.
Make room for Him as you go throughout the day.
Praise him and worship him because he is worthy
And please don’t forget to pray!
