In this life we will certainly have trials and tribulations. The one thing that makes these life misfortunes bearable is knowing that we have a Comforter who we can depend on to help in time of need. God is my Comforter. When sickness or tragedy strikes, I know I can call on my 24/7 physician.
Lord, thank you for looking beyond my faults and seeing my needs. Even when I do not deserve the healing or rescue, You are there! You can’t ask for a better Comforter than Him. God’s mercy surrounds me and brings peace and comfort to my mind, soul, spirit and body.
I pray that you too have someone to call on when you are in trouble. If not, get to know the Ultimate Comforter, Healer and Friend, the one and only true God.
