Hey Guys!!!!! It’s that time of year again. For many it’s a time of much activity. There are the office parties, the family parties, the shopping, the plays, the baking and the cooking. In the midst of the fun, it can all be…well…exhausting. But it’s still joyous nevertheless.
Unfortunately for others, it’s a time of deep sadness and loneliness. No family, nor party invites and no money to buy gifts. Somehow these people seem to be the forgotten group of people.
In this edition, I will share with you some of my favorite Christmas movies and songs that will help to bring our minds back to the true meaning of Christmas…Christ. When we realign our focus on Christ, our priorities at this time of year will be redirected. The lonely will feel loved, the busy will feel peace and the financially broken, will understand that all that they need is found in Christ. So take a listen and take a look, I’m sure something will help your heart to overflow with the joy that was gifted to us in that manger in Bethlehem.

Christmas with a Capital C explores how in the midst of traditions, we can lose what the true meaning for God’s gift to the world…LOVE. In this movie a small town learns how hearts can be changed when we put aside our manmade ideologies and traditions.
The Christmas Choir follows the transformation of a man who seemingly has everything but yet feels so empty. As he begins to work with a group of homeless men, he finds out that they who seem to have nothing, have everything he longs for.
An old time favorite, The Preacher’s Wife tells the story of a Pastor in a struggle with his faith. The pressures and trials of the assignment he carries almost causes him to lose his faith, joy and family until the Joy that accompanies the Savior’s birth reignites everything he though he lost.

We Are the Reason as ministered by Avalon, who is one of my personal favorites. It reminds us why Christ came. “To a World that was lost He came, Everything that He had He gave to show us the reason to live” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMhajmOBr0c
Mary Did You Know, all though it’s covered by many, I believe it’s mastered by Michael English. This song reminds us of the power which dwells within the Christ Child. That same power that he walked the earth with, that same power that raised Him from the dead, that same power that dwells in the Believer…oh, do we really know? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsgDJlVNkQc
