Purpose is one of those things either you are walking in it or you are not; and those who don’t, often find themselves questioning what’s next. What’s next in their life? What’s next in their job? What’s next in their relationship? WHAT’S NEXT??
Prayerfully, this article will help you shed some light on what’s next. I have to admit before I understood my purpose, I had to sit before God and ask Him a series of questions. My initial question was; Who am I? Most fail to realize that you have to go to the maker in order to figure out how something operates. In this case, you were created by God; the manufacturing guru. As I sat in the presence of the “manufacturer”, He reminded me that I was created in His image (Genesis 1:27), fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and pleasing in His sight (Hebrews 13:21). Why did God feel that it was important to tell me these things? Because He knew that I would need reassurance for where He was getting ready to take me. See, before you walk in your purpose you have to be clear on who you are at all times. Walking in your purpose will cause you to be talked about, ridiculed and often mistaken for as cuckoo-LOL. YES, you will want to quit. YES, you will begin to think the naysayers are right. YES, you will question God.
Keep pressing! I promise you it gets better, but don’t take my word for it, take God’s. Here are three things that you need to understand about walking in your purpose:
- God will guide your footsteps;
- You are someone’s answered prayer;
- Your labor will not be in vain.
Now take your purpose and fuel it with passion!!
